Missions We Actively Support

Compassion InternationalCompassion International is a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. Compassion helps more than a million children in 24 countries around the world. LMPC financially supports, prays for and corresponds with two children. Our youth sponsor a 15 year old girl in Mexico and our Deacons a 7 year old boy in the Philippines.
FrontiersThe ministry of Frontiers communicates the good news of Jesus Christ to Muslim peoples in word and deed, bringing relief and development and planting churches in some of the most troubled regions of the world. Frontiers' motto is, "With love and respect, inviting Muslim peoples to follow Jesus." LMPC financially supports and prays for the ministry of Frontiers, and is in relationship with Frontiers' staff.
Military Outreach MinistriesMOM provides helping services to enlisted military families (rates E-5 and below) and families of deployed and injured service members in San Diego County in the thirteen military installations south of Camp Pendleton. MOM serves families of all faiths. LMPC supports MOM by providing office space for their staff, hosting special events for Military families at Christmas and Easter, donations of food, clothing and furniture, and volunteer help.

Presbyterian Urban Ministries is a Christ-centered ministry of mercy and compassion located at 2549 Market Street in San Diego. PUM serves those who are poor or find themselves outside of mainstream society, helping thousands of people each year with services including food, clothing, hygiene kits, identification documents, preparation to enter or re-enter the job market, bus passes, prayer and counseling and much more! LMPC supports PUM through financial giving, food drives and volunteer work.
Reality Changers

Reality Changers is transforming the lives of teenagers in San Diego through a combination of academic tutoring, spiritual mentoring and social support. Reality Changers grew out of founder Chris Yannov's efforts to minister to teens involved in gangs. RC is receiving national recognition, including from National Public Radio. It is a powerful demonstration of the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. LMPC supports Reality Changers through financial giving and prayer.
Trinity Life Fellowship

Trinity Life Fellowship is a dynamic new church launched in September, 2008 to reach the growing 2nd Generation Latino/Hispanic population of South San Diego County. After only two months Sunday attendance is over 80 people with new visitors each month. Under the leadership of Marc Pena and his team, TLF is already developing partnership with an orphanage in Mexico. LMPC supports Trinity Life Fellowship through prayer and financial giving.
Urban Youth Collaborative

Under the leadership of Rev. Nate Landis the Urban Youth Collaborative is a network of church and parachurch partnerships that holistically shares the good news of Jesus Christ with 700 students each week at 18 public schools in San Diego city. Nate is an evangelist who speaks often at camps, schools, and churches in Southern California. Find out more at LMPC supports Urban Youth Collaborative through financial giving.
Witnessing Ministries for Christ Witnessing Ministries for Christ ministers to the "Dalit" or "untouchable" caste of India. The Dalits suffer terrible injustice because they are seen as sub-human. Witnessing Ministries for Christ brings the Gospel of Jesus Christ, plants churches and provides education, bringing spiritual, economic and social empowerment, dignity and hope. LMPC supports Witnessing Ministries through prayer and financial giving.
